Chanel Rare Runway Tweed, Chainmail & CC Logo Metal Fringe Necklace

This exceptional and rare necklace from Chanel was the highlight of the runway in 2010 when Lagerfeld created an arctic scene with icebergs transported from Scandinavia and an all around frozen landscape. All accents are done in gunmetal or ruthenium with the top part of the bib necklace showing faux fur and tweed. The hanging mesh chainmail holds dangling CC logos and metal "ice shards" with that pattern repeated below. Too much detail to list with tweed braided through the necklace links, hanging chains down the back of the neck with more CC's and a lobster claw clasp for closure. The runway version pictured here had hanging tweed pieces. Matching bracelet and earrings also available for sale. Excellent condition. Necklace measures 16 and 1/2 inches long including extension and front drop is 4 and 1/2 inches long. Signed and dated 10A.
