The art of pâte de verre is a rare and special technique used by the house of Chanel that makes a glass paste to create these beautiful pieces. All accents are done in gold metal with nine multi-chain sections that separate eight oblong shaped black glossy beads flanked by clear sparkling crystal rondells that are all hand wire wrapped. The centerpiece is the three-dimensional camellia with a lariat or Y style that has a teardrop shaped end bead. Hook and eye closure with chain extension. Excellent very vintage condition. Necklace measures 28 inches long and drop from top of camellia is 4 and 1/2 inches. Signed and dated Season 28.
